Supervisor
Location:
San Juan
Job Purpose:
The Warehouse Supervisor is
responsible for the management of all aspects of inventory, distribution and
warehousing of material, equipment and tools, ensuring timely and cost
effective functioning of these areas.
Major Duties and
Responsibilities:
-
Directing and
coordinating all activities in the department in order to provide all
job sites with the necessary materials, equipment and tools in a timely
and cost effective manner.

The Warehouse Supervisor
would have custodial responsibility for providing the physical security
over all material, equipment and tools and the like that are held in the
Company’s main warehouse and site storage areas.
-
Responsible for
inspecting all items to be received into Inventory.
-
Ensures that the
Inventory system is updated with all receipts into the warehouse.
-
Responsible for
maintaining the hard copy of open purchase orders and GRN’s to support
any quires that may arise.
-
Responsible for ensuring
that all items received into the inventory are properly labeled and
stored in a secure location.
-
Overseeing the picking
and packing orders.
-
Ensures the prompt
dispatching of orders and completion of all documents and records.
-
Coordinates stock counts.
-
Monitors stock accuracy
efficiently and effectively to ensure operational integrity is
maintained.
-
Responsible for
timesheets of all Warehouse employees.
-
Coordinates the return of
material to stores.
-
Carries out the duties of
any absent warehouse personnel.
-
Represents Warehouse
Department at meeting for new and ongoing projects.
-
Maintains a perpetual
Inventory system ensuring the Inventory is completely counted twice
annually.
-
Achieves continuous
reduction in aged and excess inventory.
-
Submits monthly reports
monitoring inventory, distribution and warehousing expenses closely,
conducting variance analyses and recommending solutions.
-
Conducts Performance
Appraisals for all subordinate staff.
-
Responsible for Safety
and Housekeeping within the Warehouse areas.
-
Responsible for managing
the efficient running of the department and supervises all External
Warehouse Clerks and Staff of the Warehouse Department.
-
Performs other related
duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
-
Minimum of three (3) O’
levels with Mathematics and English.
-
Diploma in Management,
Warehousing or a related field of study.
-
Proficient in Microsoft
Office.
-
Diploma/Certificate in
Electrical and Electronic Engineering or equivalent is an asset.
Knowledge and Experience:
-
Minimum of two (2) years
at supervisory level or similar position.
-
Minimum of three (3)
years experience in warehousing.
-
Experience in the
Construction industry is an asset.
-
Experience in the
electrical field is an asset.
-
Experience in Microsoft
Great Plains is an asset.
-
Knowledge of Occupational
Health and Safety

Ability to calculate
figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, circumference and
volume.
Salary: TT$6,000
- $7,000
